The cost was no longer worth it.

Years ago, a peer asked me what had prompted me to completely change how I run my business. The truth? I had reached a breaking point.

I was burning out at least twice a year. I no longer enjoyed the business I had built. I felt like I was constantly “on call” for clients.

  • I was working 14+ hour days plus weekends.

  • I couldn’t rest or recharge. My creativity was tapped out.

  • I was torn between being present with my husband and responding to client messages after hours.

  • I was serving everyone else’s growth while quietly sacrificing my own health, relationships, and joy.

I told myself this was just what success required. But deep down, I knew the truth: I was caught in the same patterns I now help my clients overcome — perfectionism, people-pleasing, and performance.

I was bending over backwards to prove my value, please everyone around me, and maintain the image of being “on top of it all.” But those protective patterns weren’t freedom. They were costing me what mattered most.

That’s when God began showing me I couldn’t keep living this way. If I didn’t change, I would keep sacrificing my well-being — physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially, and relationally.

The cost was no longer worth it.

The Turning Point

I had to make major shifts — not just drawing boundaries or rearranging my calendar, but doing the deep inner work. I needed to release the pressure to prove, please, and perform, and begin leading from who God created me to be.

It meant uncovering the false identities I had carried for years and reclaiming my truest identity in Him.

Fast forward to today…

✔️ I think, feel, and operate like the CEO God designed me to be.
✔️ I have more space to create than I’ve had in years.
✔️ My days reflect my true priorities.
✔️ I rest, recharge, and honor when my mind or body needs a break.
✔️ I’m building what I am called to in this season, without striving or proving.

But most importantly:
I no longer lead from pressure, fear of conflict, or striving to prove my worth.
Instead, I lead from peace, purpose, and alignment with my God-given identity.

And now, my clients are experiencing the same freedom.

They’ve gone from feeling spread thin to feeling focused, fulfilled, and faith-centered again.
They’re learning to trust themselves — and trust God — as they release old patterns and reclaim their true identity.
