Maxed Out and Looking for an Exit
When Gina came to me, she felt maxed out. She didn’t feel like she had bandwidth to take on anything else. And she was seriously considering selling her business because of the toll it was taking on her.
It was no longer fun. And this wasn’t what she had originally signed up for when she started her business.
She had grown her company to 7 figures over the last 13 years. And she was grateful for the success they had.
But she was tired of having to appease the “G**gle gods” who literally changed the rules overnight about what you could and couldn’t do (or be penalized if you didn’t comply with the new rules).
And it was challenging to find reliable employees (and retain the best ones).
So Gina felt like she had to hold onto more of the tasks that would typically be delegated, and she had to stay on top of everything.
She was working long days behind her computer and missing out on a lot of things in her life! She said no to taking nature walks with her husband because she “had work to do.” She said no to going away to their cabin because she “had work to do.”
She was saying no to a lot of things she would LOVE to do!

- “Set it and forget it” during holiday promotions (their busiest time of the year), so she could enjoy being fully present with her family
- Decide she doesn’t want to sell the business after all
When I look back at how far she has come in just three months, I could not be more proud of her!
And Gina had a few realizations that I want to share with you:
- Years ago, she wasn’t ready to experience this level of abundance. She said she would’ve wasted it. But she has become a different person and because of that, she makes very different decisions today than she would’ve then.
- She now sees where she has limited the company’s growth. Now, she is READY to scale it. Three months ago, she thought it would require her to DO more (this is the last thing she wanted as she felt maxed out in time, capacity, and mental bandwidth). But it’s actually about SIMPLIFYING and DOING LESS.
- She no longer feels like she needs to be the one solving the problems. She can empower her team to solve problems and update her after the fact. And now she can’t wait to delegate more things that will free up her time and alleviate stress. This is a HUGE breakthrough for her to hand over the reins!
- She is now ready to truly be the CEO of her company. She can let go of working so much IN the business, as an employee. Now she can be the CEO and pursue other things she is excited about doing like writing a book, starting a non-profit, and spending more time with her husband at their cabin on the lake.

Spiritual Intelligence (SQ) Leads to Creation and Sale of Passion Project
When Chris first came to me, he really wanted to pursue his passion project full-time.
He knew he was getting in his own way. Part of our work together involved working on his subconscious beliefs. He had significant breakthroughs within the first 5 weeks.
When I do mindset work with business leaders, I go about it in a very unconventional way.
Sure, I can pull in neuroscience tools, but I also like to invite God to speak the Truth. Right there IN the coaching session. (With my client’s permission of course.)
It’s the quickest, most powerful way to transform thinking by hearing truth that sets people free from the lies they’re believing.
In John 8:31-32 Jesus said, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Not only does God speak Truth when we need it most, but He also gives clarity, direction, and reassurance.
This is part of Spiritual Intelligence (SQ), which allows us to tap into opportunities we may otherwise be unaware of or bypass altogether.
For Chris, he noticed that God kept bringing up a software side project he had sidelined. He felt like he was supposed to start working on it again; he had an inner knowing he just couldn’t shake. And he was getting prophetic words (another form of SQ) that pointed to this project, clear as day.
So we asked God for guidance. Sometimes Chris was just given the next step. Other times, the path before him was made clear.
Then God brought him a divine connection with the director of a non-profit that was a perfect fit for this software he was developing. But had Chris not listened to the Holy Spirit’s promptings (SQ), the software would not have been ready when the opportunity presented itself.
Long story short, Chris worked closely with them for several months as a part-time consultant and was then able to sell the custom software to them for a handsome profit!

Revenue Growth after Years of Stagnation
When my client Barbara and I sat down to do an in-depth Marketing Audit with her and her business partner, I was able to diagnose a few key things keeping their business stuck just above 6 figures.
In reviewing their most recent webinar in detail, we identified specific points where they were losing sales (and why).
Much of that, by the way, went back to subconscious beliefs which then showed up in the webinar.
So we identified the “head trash,” worked on shifting those beliefs, and used tried and true marketing principles to refine key parts of the webinar, including the pitch.
The result? They went from a 5% conversion rate (before the audit) to 13% on the second iteration to 20% on the third iteration!
And that was just the beginning. We also:
- Refined their email newsletters.
- Simplified their content, making it less work for their team and a better experience for readers.
- Streamlined their emails and calls to action (CTAs), resulting in a 67% increase in registrations.
In Q1 2024 we went to work on building their brand and increasing their traffic by leveraging SEO strategies, social media strategies, launching their new podcast, and securing appearances as a podcast guest.
These strategies aren’t revolutionary, but all too often ambitious entrepreneurs don’t know what they don’t know. So there’s a learning curve and a lot of refining in the Consulting work we do together.
The results:
- Consistent lead flow and sales
- Debts paid off
- Revenue growth after several years of stagnation
And we’ve mapped out a clear path for them to hit $1M in revenue for the first time.
In Q2 2024, we’re shifting the focus to Leadership and Team Development. What got them to 6 figures won’t get them to 7 figures. And it certainly won’t get them to 8 figures. We’re identifying:
- Gaps in team member skill sets, modifying roles, providing training, and preparing the way for new hires.
- Subconscious beliefs causing the CEO to overwork, be overly involved in details, and not trusting team members.
- Areas of opportunity to reduce work load, simplify processes, and empower others.
- Emerging markets and opportunities for business growth.
